hi,  im using mozilla firefox with quicktime player on windows os to view site that requires authentication. you have to input the user and password before entering the site and the quicktime will also prompt for a user name and password to start the video streaming. for windows operating system it works fine. but when i tried it on ubuntu linux 9.10 mozilla firefox , i can only login on the first authentication.
there is no prompt for userid and password for quicktime on ubuntu. how can i activate this so that i can access the video? i also tried m-player plugin but no success.
