Internal HDD is marked as external?
« on: March 11, 2010, 07:34:45 PM »
Hey guys,

Recently I made the jump from Windows to Linux/Ubuntu 9.10 and so far I'm very happy with the switch. One thing is bugging me though. I have a 40GB HDD and a 160GB HDD in my PC. The 40GB HDD is split up by Ubuntu. C: is Windows and Z: is Ubuntu. However, my 160 GB HDD is just called "160 GB Filesystem" and when I try to install a game I only see C: (Windows folder, 40GB HDD), D: (DVD drive) and Z: (Linux folder, 40GB HDD). How can I get my 160GB HDD to be recognized as well?

Thanks.

It's connected like the other 40GB HDD... it's inside the tower it's not an external.

Ubuntu was installed from CD inside Windows 7.

This is what it shows in Computer:

Hmm, I guess the question is more Wine related... I need to know how to get that 160GB Filesystem in Wine so I can install games on it... wrong forum for that I guess.
