Sorry I am a bit late with my reply. The Database file I "speak" about is a Microsoft Access Database. It is a file of ALL my "contacts" - friends, relatives from around the world. The database contains Names/Addresses/Zip Codes/Post Codes/Mobile and landline numbers/Birthday Dates, etc., etc., etc. - it contains information on all the people I've known over the years. It is a "sort of" Address Book, with much more information. I would like to be able to open it; edit it and add to it using OpenOffice.org Database v.3.2.
When I was using Windows Vista I was able to download a copy of OpenOffice.org Database and I was able to convert and open the Microsoft Access Database but when I try to open it now I get an error message which says:
The connection to the data source "Addresses" could not be established.
The connection to the external data source could not be established. No SDBC driver was found for the given URL.
What is an SDBC driver? What does it do? What is it for? Where do I get it?
Thanks Joe12
