Install dual boot system

Hay there guys I am wanting to add a dual boot system with a windows XP pro edition when i get to put the CD in for the install it only gets to the please wait and stop's there PLEASE HELP

Sorry, I don't quite understand.  Are you trying to install ubuntu within windows in the same way that you would install any other application (wubi)?  Or are you trying to make an install of ubuntu by booting from the CD and installing ubuntu side by side with windows?  Could you please be a little more descriptive of what you are trying to do and of what problem you are experiencing.
