Unmounting USB Devices
« on: June 07, 2010, 07:51:51 AM »
If I use a cf memory card into my "built-in" card reader, Ubuntu 10.4 recognises the card as USB0 and it works perfectly. However, I can't unmount it?
The same thing happens if I try to read from a digital camera?
I get this message:
Unable to unmount USB0
unmount: /media/usb0 is not in the fstab (and you are not root)
However, I have just noticed that after reading from my digital camera and the desktop icon displaying (and being unable to dismount) it seems that after a few minutes it has disappeared from the desktop.
