Installed Ubuntu 10.4 have no sound anymore

Hello, Since I have installed the update from Ubuntu 9.1 to 10.4 I have had sound issues. Dvds and items d/l to my hd the sound works great but, if i try to watch a video etc online I have no sound at all. I have an EMachines E520 and I use Firefox. Can you please help.

Hello,

I get no sound from youtube, yahoo,msn or any site for that matter. Sound does work for downloaded files and movies however. Thank you for your response.
