I need this "legacy" video card to output sound through the H.D.M.I. port. The Video works fine just no sound. I know this is a known issue and I have tried many work-around with no success. When in try to install fglrx drivers i get a flickering screen on boot up. Then have to reload OS. I am looking for a solution for Ubuntu 12.04.4.
I am new to Linux and not very familiar with the environment.
I don't like Windows...... I plug my pc into my TV and like the simplicity of HDMI cables. In order to really use Ubuntu regularly I need to get this feature working. My family likes to watch movies.
Here is my video info.
