How to fix USB not mounting in Ubuntu 10:04

hi  All

you may find that the use mounting is being weird this is a bug in the floppy module and not working as you'd like so to turn off the floppy module  :

1) Open up a Terminal ( Ctrl +Alt +t) 

2) type ( copy & paste )

sudo modprobe -r floppy

3) Then reboot by :

sudo reboot
