BGINFO type app.

There is an app for Windows called BGinfo that displays a lot of system information kind of as a desktop background.  I have 4 systems and a few VM's that I use during the day and it would be great to have a way to quickly see what desktop or machine I was working on as well as a few other factors fairly easily memory, cpu info etc.  I can't seem to find an app that does that in lucid but in all honesty on a scale of 1 to 10 as an ubuntu user, I'm down around a 3 or 4.  Been running it for about 2 months and absolutely love it.  Any ideas, please let me know.  Thanks

There are some pretty useful screenlets you could lock to the desktop and adjust the transparency and set them to background to mimic a desktop with different system monitors on it. I think there are even screenlets that will monitor systems remotely if you want that info as well.
