ubuntu 11.04 help with 1366x768 resolution on my monitor?
« on: August 07, 2011, 09:26:13 PM »
Hi guys,I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 and I have an Acer 18" LCD monitor with the Intel GMA X4500 integrated video adapter on my motherboard.
When I try to change resolutions the options only go up to 1024x768.The native resolution on my monitor is 1366x768.How can I get this resolution working? It really looks terrible at 1024x768.
Thanks.

Have you installed the most up to date proprietary drivers? If not Ubuntu will do this for you http://ubuntuforum.webs.com/proprietarydrivers.htm.
