webmin on ubuntu 10.10

hi, newbie tries to follow instructions  for installing webmin on Maverick. I followed http://www.ubuntugeek.com/webmin-installation-and-configuration-in-ubuntu-linux.html from december 2008.
 cd /usr/local/src   ->(oke)
sudo tar xzvf webmin-1.310.tar.gz -> tar (child) webmin-1.310.tar.gz: Cannot open: No such file or directory.
What went wrong?
Please inform me what to do now.

try using the sources.list mod
