Examine the role that Citrix XenClient plays in desktop transformation via its bare-metal virtualization, deployed directly and transparently onto laptops and PCs.

According to ESG Research 69% of enterprises have either already implemented desktop virtualization or are in the pilot phase, preparing to deploy. But desktop virtualization is not a one-size-fits-all proposition: businesses have to be ready to arm themselves with various deployment models that match the specific requirements of the end-user community.

Citrix XenClient's unique characteristics enable users to run a single managed virtual machine or multiple managed virtual machines locally on their laptops via a client-side hypervisor. Giving users the flexibility they need and businesses a better way to protect and isolate sensitive data.
