Hello!
I have a shutdown problem with Ubuntu 11.10 that I installed three months ago, so I want to try the 10.04 LTS.
I checked the .iso, everything is ok, I created a Live USB with USBCreator but it gave me the "gfxboot" problem with
vesamenu.c32: not a COM32R image and the options in the
boot prompt (live, live-install, help) don't work. Well... whatever

I made a new one with UnetBootIn and I can run "Try Ubuntu" when I replace
quiet splash by
nomodeset. But the wallpaper is just displayed with the arrow and then nothing.... the arrow doesn't even move. I tried with the option
acpi=off but it's worse (color lines everywhere).
Do you have an idea how I can access the 10.04?
