Ubuntu For Old Laptops or PCs with no USB support from bios
« on: September 30, 2012, 02:22:21 AM »
I Installed succesfully ubuntu 7.10 in a old laptop Micron in a 4GB USB drive the problem now is when I boot the laptop it won't boot from USB because this is a old laptop PIII 128MB RAM No Internal Hard Drive CD room available to run a boot CD no Floppy. This is a laptop with no option to boot from USB like new computers so I must create a bootable CD to access the Grub in my USB... Is last version of Ultimate Boot CD good to do this? or do i need to compile one?
