Ubuntu 10.10 - LiveCD stops at busybox
« on: August 18, 2012, 10:59:41 AM »
I am trying to simply use Ubuntu as a LiveCD to access a duocore HPCompaq Q notebook's NTFS hard disk, to delete the $TxfLog transaction metafile.

I altered the boot option in grub menu with a 'nohd' option, so the hard disk is not mounted?!? It stops in busybox. I even tried and got as far as to using busybox to access the ntfs disk, but the mount command is limited unlike a shell mount command.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance
