Server Clone
« on: January 19, 2010, 11:52:47 AM »
I have an ftp server running ubuntu that's been running 24/7 for about 2 years. In fear that it may suddenly give up at some point I want to have an external second hard drive that is constantly cloning the boot disk. I'm a bit new to all this so would really appreciate some advice on the best way to go about this.

Was thinking of using QuickStart but any other suggestions or advice on how to use this would be amazing.

You can try one of the following

g4l - Ghost for Linux http://sourceforge.net/projects/g4l

Clonezilla - http://www.clonezilla.org/

Partimage - a partition at a time http://www.partimage.org/Main_Page
