Title: Empathy in Indicator Applet
Post by: Oats on May 16, 2010, 05:49:15 PM
Ok, so I'm pretty much new to Ubuntu and have been reading up on a bunch of stuff to get more acquainted. Today i decided to search for cam support for Empathy and found this.

 Re: Empathy and video
to get video conferencing working for the MSN protocol in Empathy, simply copy and paste the following lines into a terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:telepathy/ppa

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

I tried running them, but still had no cam support and also it removed Empathy from my Indicator Applet. Will i have to remove the codes or Is there any way to get it back there?

Thanks in advance
