Title: Permission on Partition
Post by: bob on September 04, 2010, 03:25:20 AM
Have used the live USB application to put ubuntu10.04 on a 10GB fat partition and a 140 GB ext2 partition for storage on the rest of the 160 GB USB  HDD drive.

Now I don't have permission to put files on this partition!   How can I change this?
Properties>Permissions> says unknown which is no help.

I will need  the full command if i have to do it with chmod.  I have problems with RTFM I don't understand it.

Is there a better way of installing a live OS allowing use of all the full drive?
Thanks for any help.
